Charna earned her master’s degree at Mercer University in Marriage and Family Therapy and her undergraduate degree from Virginia State University in English with concentrations in Mass Communications and Writing. Charna is also a certified Social Media Strategist.
Charna has worked in Social Media management and marketing since 2014 with multiple organizations and growing small businesses. Charna’s clinical experience includes working with individuals, couples, families, children, and adolescents.
Charna’s primary theoretical orientation is Symbolic Experiential, where she focuses on the impact of the people and things around you on emotions and how to embrace them in order to affect effective change. Charna’s interventions most frequently utilize mindfulness and positive affirmations. Her niche can be described as working with clients of color who have previously questioned the effectiveness of therapy specifically in areas around anxiety and family issues. She particularly likes working with men and adolescents.
Charna’s aim is to help her clients embrace and understand the emotions they feel in an effort to take control of their own lives. She is here to guide individuals, families, and couples on their journeys and is honored to help them find comfort and make sense of their most troubling times.
Charna is currently working under supervision towards her LMFT.

I’m LeNaya Smith Crawford, Licensed Holistic Therapist, Trauma-Informed Facilitator, Sound Healer, and Coach, with over a decade of experience. I specialize in helping women therapists, healers, leaders, and ambitious CEOs reclaim their energy, regulate their nervous systems, heal trauma, and step into the most whole, aligned, and empowered version of themselves.
My approach to Holistic Mental Health and Healing is rooted in the belief that true transformation happens when we address the whole self: physical, energetic, mental, emotional, spiritual, and communal. Healing is not just about coping, it’s about thriving. It’s about integrating ancient healing practices with modern mental health strategies so that you can embody your purpose, joy, and authenticity without burnout, stress, or self-sacrifice.
I use a range of holistic, evidence-based, and creative modalities to support healing and transformation, including yoga, breathwork, meditation, sound healing, brain spotting, Internal Family Systems (IFS), play therapy, art therapy, person-centered therapy, and solution-focused approaches. Each session is an intentional space where you are guided to release, restore, and realign with the fullest expression of yourself.
